The Claims Process
Simply call us on 0330 633 7861 or complete our online enquiry form. A dedicated claims handler will be assigned to you immediately and will guide you through every step of the process. We'll gather the details of the accident, assess your situation, and advise you on the best course of action — all at no cost to you.
The timeline varies depending on the complexity of the claim. Straightforward cases where liability is admitted quickly can be resolved in a matter of weeks. More complex cases involving disputed liability or serious injury may take several months. Your claims handler will keep you updated throughout and give you a realistic timeframe based on your specific circumstances.
You are legally required to notify your own insurer of any accident, even if you are not making a claim through them. However, you do not have to use your own insurer to manage your claim. We handle everything directly with the at-fault party's insurer on your behalf, which often results in a faster and more favourable outcome.
Disputed liability is common and is something we deal with regularly. We will gather evidence — including witness statements, CCTV footage, police reports, and accident reconstruction if necessary — to build the strongest possible case. We work with specialist solicitors where needed to ensure your position is fully protected.
If the at-fault driver is uninsured or cannot be traced, you may still be entitled to compensation through the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB). We have extensive experience handling MIB claims and will manage the entire process on your behalf.
Replacement Vehicles
If the accident was not your fault, you are entitled to a like-for-like replacement vehicle for the duration of your claim. This means a vehicle of the same class and specification as your own. We provide replacement vehicles directly from our own fleet, so there is no delay waiting for insurer approval.
In most cases, we can have a replacement vehicle with you the same day. Once we have confirmed the circumstances of the accident and established that you are not at fault, we will arrange delivery to your home or workplace as quickly as possible.
If you were at fault, you may still be entitled to a replacement vehicle depending on the terms of your own insurance policy. We can review your policy and advise you on your options. In some cases, we can arrange a vehicle on a credit hire basis.
Yes. We provide like-for-like replacements for cars, vans, and motorbikes. If you rely on a commercial vehicle for your business, we understand the urgency and will prioritise getting you back on the road as quickly as possible.
Repairs & Recovery
We work with a network of approved repairers who meet our strict quality standards. All repairs are carried out to manufacturer specification using genuine parts where possible, and are guaranteed for the lifetime of the vehicle. You are not obliged to use the at-fault insurer's recommended repairer.
If your vehicle is declared a total loss, we will negotiate the settlement value with the at-fault insurer on your behalf. We have specialist valuers who ensure you receive the true market value of your vehicle, not an undervalued offer from the insurer.
Yes. We operate our own in-house recovery fleet and can attend the scene of an accident to recover your vehicle. Our drivers are trained to handle all vehicle types, including heavy commercial vehicles and motorbikes.
We have secure storage facilities across the UK. Your vehicle will be stored safely while repairs are arranged or while the claim is being assessed. Storage costs are recovered from the at-fault insurer as part of your claim.
Personal Injury
If you were injured in an accident that was not your fault, you may be entitled to compensation for your injuries, loss of earnings, and other associated costs. We work with specialist personal injury solicitors who operate on a No Win, No Fee basis.
You can claim for any physical injury sustained as a result of the accident, including whiplash, soft tissue injuries, fractures, and more serious injuries. You may also be able to claim for psychological injuries such as anxiety or PTSD if these resulted from the accident.
In most cases, you have three years from the date of the accident to make a personal injury claim. However, it is always advisable to start the process as soon as possible while evidence is fresh and witnesses are available.
If the accident was not your fault and you claim through us rather than your own insurer, it should not affect your no-claims bonus or your premium. However, you are legally required to notify your insurer of the accident regardless of how you proceed.
